The success or failure of final restoration is more dependent on the operator of the articulator than on articulator itself. The use of facebow forms an integral part for analyzing and studying occlusion, developing the occlusion for complete dentures and other restoration. Failure to use the facebow leads to error in occlusion. If dentists understands articulators and their deficiencies, they can compensate for their inherent inadequacies.No one understands articulators better than the one who made them.
