Beschreibung
Metal Matrix composites are the promised materials for various engineering applications because of their higher weight to density ratio. Selection of suitable reinforcement material will give required mechanical Properties. In this present work FLY ASH (FA) and RICE HUSK ASH (RHA) reinforcements were added to Matrix material Aluminium alloy (AlSi10Mg).By adding these FA and RHA at different proportions to Matrix had improved mechanical and wear properties. It was clearly evident that Reinforcements in equal proportions showed better mechanical and wear properties. The Scanning Electron and Optical Electron Microscopic images were analyzed in the support of observed properties.
