Beschreibung

The development of chemically bonded refractory materials has been evident in recent decades. Binders that satisfy the requirements that are related to the production of refractory materials and their quality are tested for this purpose. In order of binding fire-resistant materials be completely, it is necessary to enter a binder as well as accelerators binding in the prepared mixture and in this part there is a significant area which has not been sufficiently explored. The specific advantages of using this kind of refractory products have led to a significant increase in of their share in the total production of refractory materials. Certain advantages are achieved by manufacturing refractory products based on phosphate binding, compared to traditional production: energy saving and improvement of certain technical characteristics. Energy savings are particularly indicated when it comes to high alumina products for the production of which, instead of firing at temperatures of 1500-1700 °C, are sufficient temperature to 900 °C. The most important technical advantages are: high initial mechanical strength and slag stability.
