Beschreibung

Nowadays, pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides play an important role to prevent loss of output yield but the prolonged use of them also created not only undesirable effects but also pollution problem to the environment that are hazardous to human and other living things. In addition, many people are concerned about chemicals in pesticides so that most of the researchers focus on environmental friendly formula. In this research work, a horticultural fertilizer-based adjuvant, spreader activator Phosphorylated Thit-sein Oil (PTSO) was prepared from indigenous seed oil (Terminalia belerica, Beleric Myrobalan) as the pesticides or insecticides. The properties of PTSO not only help hold chemicals of the pesticides on the leaf surface for required extended period of time, but when they are not necessary, can also be removed easily without any side-effects. In addition, the prepared PTSO can protect the nursery plants in horticulture in a way is to be bio-friendly and environmentally.
