Essay from the year 2017 in the subject Business economics - Miscellaneous, grade: A, Lancaster University, language: English, abstract: It was one of the finest baroque churches in the world (Meg, 1998) in a city that is known as Florence of the Elbe, dominating the skyline since its completion in 1743 (Furlong, 2004): The Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) in Dresden, Germany. Unfortunately, the church was destroyed in 1945, when Allied bombers attacked the city and killed around 100,000 inhabitants (Connolly, 2005; Meg, 1998) in response to the Germans bombing the City of London. After the blackened ruins had laid for decades (Connolly, 2004), the church was reconstructed between 1994 and 2005 based on a civilian initiative that aimed to create a symbol for reconciliation and peace (Furlong, 2004).This report aims to sketch the major characteristics of the according project and the lessons that can be learned from its realisation. It thereby draws on major project management tools and frameworks in the following categories: - Project description, vision and strategy- Challenges- Project stakeholders- Project risks- Lessons learned

„E-Book“ steht für digitales Buch. Um diese Art von Büchern lesen zu können wird entweder eine spezielle Software für Computer, Tablets und Smartphones oder ein E-Book Reader benötigt. Da viele verschiedene Formate (Dateien) für E-Books existieren, gilt es dabei, einiges zu beachten.
Von uns werden digitale Bücher in drei Formaten ausgeliefert. Die Formate sind EPUB mit DRM (Digital Rights Management), EPUB ohne DRM und PDF. Bei den Formaten PDF und EPUB ohne DRM müssen Sie lediglich prüfen, ob Ihr E-Book Reader kompatibel ist. Wenn ein Format mit DRM genutzt wird, besteht zusätzlich die Notwendigkeit, dass Sie einen kostenlosen Adobe® Digital Editions Account besitzen. Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
Da E-Books nur für eine begrenzte Zeit – in der Regel 6 Monate – herunterladbar sind, sollten Sie stets eine Sicherheitskopie auf einem Dauerspeicher (Festplatte, USB-Stick oder CD) vorsehen. Auch ist die Menge der Downloads auf maximal 5 begrenzt.
